Police identify Monday’s road fatality victim

COPS are now confirming the death of 31 year old Earlston Kavon Bailey Smith.

Around 4am on Monday, Police & first responders attended the scene of a single vehicle road traffic collision at the junction of Crow Lane and Corkscrew Hill in Pembroke.

As a result they came upon a 31 year old Southampton man in a non-responsive state a few feet away from his motorcycle which was extensively damaged.

He was later pronounced dead at the scene by an on call physician at 4:41am. The Bermuda Police Service extends condolences to the family & friends of the deceased.

Any witnesses to this collision or anyone with any information is encouraged to contact PC Timothy Evelyn of the Roads Policing Unit on 299- 4390.

The death of Earlston Kavon Bailey Smith marks the 10th road fatality for 2010.
