Brian Lara enjoying golf at PGA Grand Slam

AFTER a practice round today at Port Royal Golf Course cricket legend Brian Lara said the course played tough and he would be pleased to break 80; he’s a five handicap golfer.

Mr. Lara also encouraged Bermudians to come watch the exciting PGA Grand Slam of Golf action over the next three days.
Mr. Lara is in Bermuda for the Grand Slam as a guest of Premier Ewart Brown and the Bermuda Department of Tourism.
Tickets for the Grand Slam will be sold at the admission gate.  Daily admission is just $20.

On Monday Brian Lara will play in a Pro-Am group featuring Premier Ewart Brown and Ernie Els, a cricket fan from South Africa and three-time major golf champion.

The two-day tournament to crown the “Champion of Champions” is played Tuesday and Wednesday.
