(Hamilton, Bermuda, November 30, 2010) – Troncossi Public Relations (Troncossi), Bermuda’s most established public relations consultancy, today announces it has been appointed as consultants to Bermudian owned and operated company, Alternative Energy Systems (AES).

AES has retained Troncossi to communicate with the public on the company’s desire to provide Bermuda with micro-renewable, non-polluting energy systems that are environmentally, socially and financially sustainable and reliable.  Troncossi will provide AES with support ranging from strategic communications advice to media relations support.

Tim Madeiros, Founder and CEO, Alternative Energy Systems, says: “In our effort to engineer, design and install solar energy systems in Bermuda, we recognise the need for ongoing communications with businesses, residents and government.  The team of professionals at Troncossi will assist us in engaging these groups in learning about how to reduce Bermuda’s reliance on fossil fuels, for both financial and socially responsible reasons.  We are confident that the team at Troncossi will assist us in highlighting our expertise in micro-renewable energy systems, which ultimately can achieve environmental change in Bermuda.”

Elizabeth Tee, Managing Director, Troncossi Public Relations, says: “We are pleased to be working with such a forward thinking company.  AES is a leader in its industry and is breaking new ground in the renewable energy market.  We look forward to raising the profile of Alternative Energy Systems.”

AES has been a partner in Bermuda’s new energy economy since February 2008.  It has installed the most photovoltaic solar panels in Bermuda.  The company is the only solar energy business in Bermuda that designs, installs, upgrades and maintains micro-renewable solar power systems using in-house staff.  AES provides a seamless service and prides itself on delivering the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction on the island.
