Bermuda CableVision is inviting customers and other members of the public to attend its next “Saturday with the GM” event, to be held in Smith’s on December 11.

Launched in April of 2009, the “Saturday with the GM” programme involves a series of informal gatherings, organised in locations around Bermuda, where CableVision senior managers go out to neighbourhoods to meet with customers, share some refreshments and talk about a variety of subjects.

This Saturday, December 11, General Manager, Terry Roberson will host the event, which will take from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Speciality Inn, Collectors Hill, on South Road in Smith’s.  Mr. Roberson and other CableVision managers will be on hand to greet customers and to gain their feedback about current and future services.

“We truly value this open, face-to-face dialogue with our subscribers,” says Terry Roberson. “It’s a great way for us to get to know each other.  In fact, these meetings have played a pivotal role in our strategy to provide the best customer service in Bermuda and to be constantly poised to respond to customer needs and expectations.  Through opportunities such as these for enhanced communications, we are able to make real improvements to the overall experience of being a CableVision customer. Our ongoing goal is to continue that progression, so we look forward to seeing as many visitors as possible this Saturday in Smith’s.”

At the event, CableVision will also have information available about its advanced digital services, including HDTV and Broadband Link high-speed cable Internet service, now available at speeds of 4 MB, 6 MB and 8 MB.  The family-friendly event will also feature give-aways, contests and chances to win prizes.  Visitors will also be invited to enjoy free soft drinks and hot dogs provided by Speciality Inn.

CableVision plans to announce future events at other locations around Bermuda in 2011.
