Argus cleans up St. David’s Lighthouse Park

Alison Hill, Chief Executive Officer of the Argus Group, plants a Bermuda cedar tree in the St. David’s Lighthouse park.

Volunteers from the Argus Group carried out a clean-up at St. David’s Lighthouse Park on Friday, May 6 as part of the company’s official adoption of both this park and that at Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse announced in May 2007.  Alison Hill, Chief Executive Officer of the Argus Group, also planted a Bermuda Cedar tree to mark the occassion.

In adopting the parks, Argus agreed to help maintain and clean the grounds. The Argus Group made the commitment to looking after these two national parks in order to ensure that the legacy of these historic landmarks is preserved for the benefit of future generations. 

The clean-up was organised in partnership with Keep Bermuda Beautiful and the Bermuda Department of Parks.
