Argus hires for new Corporate & Channel Marketing Manager role

The Argus Group today announces the appointment of Phil Davis in the new role of Corporate & Channel Marketing Manager.

Mr. Davis is responsible for managing corporate, business-to-business and consumer marketing activities for the Argus Group, supporting the development of the brand, as well as tracking industry trends and customer feedback regarding products and services. He reports to Gary Hitchens, Director of Global Sales and Marketing.

Alison Hill, Chief Executive Officer of the Argus Group, says: “I welcome Phil to Argus. His cross-channel marketing skills developed predominately in the local market will be a great asset to Argus as we work to strengthen our brand and increase our market penetration. Mr. Davis has over seven years of marketing experience and joins Argus from HSBC Bermuda, where he was employed since 2008, most recently in the position of Product Manager. At the bank, Mr. Davis functioned in key roles in establishing new revenue-generating departments to manage sales effectiveness.  He began his career as a Marketing Specialist with UPS Canada and has also previously worked at Advantage Advertising Agency in Bermuda as a Marketing Manager.

Mr. Davis is studying his Masters of Business Administration at The University of Liverpool in the U.K. and is a member of both the eMarketing Association and Canadian Marketing Association.

Mr. Davis is married to a Bermudian and has a newborn son.
