Argus Insurance would like to advise its clients that the office will open tomorrow, Friday, from 9am to 5pm. Argus also encourages clients to call the Argus Claims Hurricane Hotline at 298-0888 for queries or filing a report relating to any damage caused by the hurricane.

Once you have filed your damage report, either by telephone or in person, Argus will send adjustors to your home or business. Argus recommends that clients take photos of damaged property to create an inventory for claims.

Alison Hill, CEO of the Argus Group, says: “We hope everyone is safe following the passage of Hurricane Nicole. We are opening tomorrow and are working diligently to ensure that our clients who experienced damage to their property during the hurricane have the help they need to file and process their insurance claims.”

In the aftermath of the hurricane, Argus urges residents to check on family and elderly neighbours. As the Island focuses on cleaning up and returning to normal, Argus reminds residents to obtain estimates for repair work and not to be rushed into signing a contract. Likewise, never pay for the entire repair upfront. Instead, wait until the repairs are complete. If you have any concerns about estimates you receive, please do not hesitate to contact Argus on 298-0888.
