Argus Walks the Walk with The Centre on Philanthropy Raises $34,438 for 125 Local Charities

The Argus Group and The Centre on Philanthropy today announce the results of the 6th annual Argus Walks the Walk with The Centre on Philanthropy 5K that took place on Sunday, February 22. A total of 1,094 people participated in the event raising $34,438 for local charities, the highest amount of money raised in the event’s history. The fundraiser is unique in that participants choose their favourite charity to receive a portion of the entry fee. This year, a record-breaking 125 local charities benefited from the event. The Argus Group today announces the launch of Get Up & Thrive, an online wellness platform that offers team and individual challenges, activity tracking and other well-being activities. Get Up & Thrive is part of the Thrive programme, Argus’ nutrition, fitness and wellness strategy aimed at improving the health of Bermuda’s workforce, which was launched in January.
