New Airport Terminal Breaks Ground

  Representatives of the Bermuda Government, Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC), Aecon and Bermuda Skyport Corporation Limited joined together today to officially break ground on the new 277,300 sq. ft. airport terminal. The ceremony at Stone Crusher Corner marks the start of construction for the Airport Redevelopment Project, one of the largest infrastructure projects ever undertaken in Bermuda. Hamilton Princess dedicates hotel room where first ACE insurance policy was written

Hamilton Princess & Beach Club has unveiled a plaque to commemorate a key milestone in Bermuda’s insurance history. The founding chairman and first employee of ACE Limited, John R. New art exhibition comes to Bermuda

Hamilton Princess & Beach Club is celebrating the international spirit of sailing with an art exhibition. The three-month exhibition in the hotel lobby features an impressive series of artwork by well-known artist Ewan David Eason. The commissioned art will showcase seven homes of sailing teams around the globe. The maps, brushed in gold, will feature Auckland, New Zealand; Lorient, France; Osaka, Japan; Portsmouth, England; San Francisco, U.S.; Stockholm, Sweden; and Bermuda. Seabin project to fight against ocean pollution

A floating rubbish bin is to be installed in the marina at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club to help tackle the global littering problem. The Butterfield Group will sponsor the installation of the pre-series V5 Hybrid Seabin to coincide with the start of the 35th America’s Cup. Water is syphoned from the surface and passed through the natural fibre catch bag inside the Seabin. The water is then pumped back into the marina leaving litter and debris trapped in the catch bag to be disposed of properly.
