My father was born in Bermuda and i have had the opportunity to visit the island on 2 occasions, which i loved. On both occasions we stayed in the Southampton Princess.

Detectives Donald badge number 2045 and Abraham badge number 579 put me through such an ordeal that I am afraid for my life and rights as a human. They tried persuading me from seeking legal representation which further made me feel uncomfortable. I am afraid to ask for my things as I believe these men serve a purpose that falls outside of normal human character, please help me retrieve my property or contact the Michael DeSilva who is the Commissioner of Police they will not let me speak with him to get relief. Thank you.

I thought when I read the comments posted by others that rather than degrade, spew insults, be negative, etc., and instead wanted to get a good understanding of why and how you felt the way you did, hence, the purpose of asking questions with the hopes that your responses would provide me an understanding of your very strong position on this matter.

I opted not to respond in the first instance in a negative, inappropriate, hateful manner and my position on that has not changed.

As I said, my objective was to understand your position. The fact that you will not waste your time to answer my questions is of no consequence to me. Having had training in the area in question: Rehabilitation, Psychology, Christian Counseling, I will continue to use my God-given talents in these areas to help make Bermuda a better community.

In closing, again, while I can’t begin to know how Mr. & Mrs. Hill feel about the loss of their son, as a mother I can only hope and pray that I would respond to it as gracefully as the “Hills” have. Perhaps Mr. & Mrs. Hill can be the example of forgiveness that we all should follow.

I have a hard time understanding your warped logic that a guilty man who killed an up-and-coming citizen should be given mercy and rehabilitation without conditions. I won’t waste my time trying to answer your questions as it is clear that you are incapable of reason. We should all pray that you are not allowed to sit on a jury. You are clearly not a very sensible person.

1. Do you think the Mirrors Programme should not be instrumental in helping to change criminals lives? If you do think this, then why? If you don’t, why?

2. Given the fact that the ideal situation for criminals once incarcerated is to rehabilitate them what kinds of criminals, e.g. child molesters, rapists, murderers, etc., would it be appropriate for Mirrors to accept?

3. Have you ever heard of Troy Lewis? Well he is an individual who claims to be innocent of a crime that he didn’t commit, yet he is currently sitting on death row, awaiting execution today/tonight (last I heard)….People do get convicted of crimes by a jury of their peers, even when they are innocent…

4. Do you believe in God? If so, God forgives and expects us to forgive – there are no limitations and/or actions that exempt from forgiveness. If you do not believe in God – well I don’t know what to say…

5. Given the fact that Mr. Lewis was found guilty, what do you feel/think his sentence should have consisted of?

I’ve read the article, as I said, and can’t help but ask the question – Is this your opinion on this one particular incident or is this your view on a broad sense.
