Police ask for help to solve another 42nd shooting

RESIDENTS in the St. Monica's Road area reported hearing several gun shots fired early this morning.
The area is notoriously synonymous with the '42' gang.
We can report that no one was injured. Police did attend the scene to look for evidence (spent shell casings).

The incident comes after Kenwandee "Wheels" Robinson was shot dead in the same area -- one year ago today.
4 p.m. update from Police
Around 12:20am today (Saturday), Police received reports of gunshots in the St. Monica’s Road/The Glebe Road, Pembroke area.
Officers attended the scene a short time later and made a thorough search of the vicinity including speaking with area residents. A high profile Police presence was maintained in the area for at least an hour afterward.
Around 6:30am today (Saturday), Police returned to the area to continue their search, including officers from the Forensic Support Unit.
Forensic evidence found suggested that a firearm had been discharged; however no one has reported being injured. An investigation into this matter is underway.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 299-8121 or the independent 24 hour confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477.
