Woman crashes car into house
BERMUDA — Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009 — [Bermuda Wired]: POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 21-year-old woman driving a car on St. John’s Road in Pembroke, accidentally crashed into a house, resulting in injury and damage.

Around 4.20 this morning, cops received the call directing them to an area near the Gorham’s hardware store. Details as to how the Pembroke driver lost control remain sketchy.

She sustained head and chest injuries and her front seat passenger, a 24-year-old Hamilton Parish man, suffered a cuts and bruising to his left arm.

Both were treated for their injuries at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital – the driver was kept for observation while her passenger was treated and released.

Any witnesses to the incident are asked to call Police Constable Collin DaSilva on 295-0011.
