A Paget man is $70 out of pocket after a Magistrate fined him for pressing eight unrestrained passengers into his car. ZBM radio reported today that Kenneth Williams, 63, pleaded guilty in Magistrates’ Court to the charge of Carrying Passengers in an Unlawful Manner, occurring on August 14. According to Prosecutor Tawana Tannock, Police conducted a traffic stop of the man and found six children and one adult in his back seat, plus one adult and a child in the passenger seat. FORMER airplane mechanic Lorenzo Lottimore has been sentenced to two weeks in prison, a $1,200 fine and probation for breaching airport security. Lottimore, 31, sparked an airport security scare on September 28, when guards found him inside a parked American Airlines jet at around 3.30 a.m. Because he has been on remand for two weeks, he was sentenced to ‘time already spent’ — effectively setting him free, ZBM news reported Friday. TWO teenage burglars who admitted to removing a combined total of $30,000 worth of property — in two separate court appearancesĀ  — are awaiting sentencing.
